SINCE 1994

How PTLV began...

In 1994, Praise Tabernacle started with 6 people consisting of 5 family members and 1 guest. With meager beginnings, our church has been a shining light to the hurting of our community.

Today, we are a strong, vibrant, and exciting fellowship of believers that loves our community! We hold fast to the belief that Christ died for everyone: the homeless, widowed, those rejected by society, and even those who seem to have it all together.

God is no respecter of persons and neither are we. We are a church made up of people from diverse backgrounds. In our diversity we find common ground; we are all sinners saved by grace.

Praise Tabernacle is currently in a building project: the future home of our church.

Pastor Randy & Karen Blizzard

OUR PASTOR

Pastor Randy & Karen Blizzard

Pastor Randy Blizzard, born and raised in Columbus, Georgia started preaching at the age of fifteen. After graduating at age seventeen, he attended Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota. He married his childhood sweetheart, Karen Sheppard, and they have been married for over forty-two years!

After Bible College, they returned to Georgia where he served for eighteen years on the Georgia District Youth Board for the United Pentecostal Church International; and founded a church in Juniper, Georgia. In 1987, after nine years in the business world, Pastor Blizzard went back into full-time ministry as Pastor of the First United Pentecostal Church of Augusta, Georgia. There they served for seven years before being led by God to start Praise Tabernacle in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1994. He taught for five years at Jackson College of Ministries; where he also served as the Chief Financial Officer.

In addition to being Pastor of Praise Tabernacle, he currently serves as Presbyter of Section 5 of the SoCal District of the United Pentecostal Church International.

Worship at Praise Tabernacle

WE WELCOME YOU!

Thinking of Visiting?

We invite you to attend one of our praise and worship services and you too will experience the glory of God as he inhabits the praises of His people.

Every single person is welcomed in Praise Tabernacle. It doesn't matter how young or old, rich or poor, whether you think you have your life together or not. Acts 10:34 states, "...God is no respecter of persons." (KJV) That means you don't have to be or feel qualified to walk through those front doors, God will welcome you and so will the church. That's not only our culture but God's culture.

We welcome you to the church family and hope to see you there!

Where You Don't Have A Past, Only A Future!

What does that mean to PTLV?

When you walk into our church, you are not defined by what you have done, where you have been or who you used to be. Why? Because we have a fresh start in Christ!

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17
